Autobiography

Hi everyone!🙋‍♀️ This post is about my autobiography. So, I was born on november five, 1999 in the south of Chile, in a place called Santa Bárbara. It is a small town that is in the foothills of the eighth region 🏔. I am an only child and I have always lived with my mom and dad 🌼. I studied in a small school until I moved to Santiago, at the age of 13. There I began to study at the Liceo Manuel de Salas in Ñuñoa. When I finished high school, I took a trip that was very important to me. I was planning it throughout 2017: I wanted to know experiences of community and anti-capitalist life in Latin America that would help me solve many concerns that I had for a long time.. With a lot of work, I managed to fulfill that dream in 2018 🌟🏘🚌. In 2019 I started studying anthropology at UCh 📚🙇‍♀️. About my likes and hobbies; all my life I have had cats and I love them, I also love theater🎭 and photography📷, they do me very well. I'm really bad at sports and I love pizza! 🍕🍕🍕 Finally, a photo of me

Why did you choose this career?

When I was a child, I wanted to do too many things andI always changed my desires. I dreamed of being a teacher, a veterinarian and, above all, an actress. 👩‍🏫👩‍🔬👩‍🎨 Finally, when I went to high school my interests were reduced and I was mainly interested in things related to history, teching and social sciences. I did not think about studying theater in college - out of fear- but I always wanted to continue practicing it.📚 I decided that I wanted to study anthropology when I wasin twelth grade. I liked it because I was interested in studying something that would help me understand how societies work, but that did not entail have to study so much math haha 😅 During my first year in college I seriously thought about switching to a history, but finally I stayed. I have felt contradictions and frustrations in my studies, but finally I believe that studying also gives one the option of dedicating yourself earning about what interests you the most. That hope keeps me here.✨...

Music

My current favorite group is ketekalles, a feminist catalan band that I discovered through a friend a few monts ago. They are my favorite band beacuase of their lyrics and the message that they give. Also, the rhythm of their songs is very placent. They have really nice and quiet songs like “kabaret”, and songs that are more fast and energetic like “Manuela”. Those two are some of my favorites songs of the band but lately I have also enjoyed very much listening to “Esencia” and “Despedida”. 💘 Even thought Ketekalles is my favorite band, I listen a lot of other styles of music. Mostly reguetón, trap and pop, and not only when I am at a party or with my friends, I often listen to this kind of music when I wake up beacuase it gets me in a very happy mood, it gives me energy to start the day and is just very fun to take a shower to the beat of Bad Bunny latest hits, like “Dakiti” or Wisin y Yandel’’s epic song “Besos Mojados”. 😅🌟 Anyway with every mood a different song💐

Subjects that I enjoyed this semester

I think that this semester I have not really enjoyed any subject. It has been very difficult for me to pay attention to the classes and to be interested in the readings or topics of the lectures.🙇‍♀️ But out of all the difficulties I have had due to the pandemic and the online classes, I think that the courses that have the contents that have most captivated me are Antropología y Lenguaje (Anthropology and language), Problemas fundamentales de la Antropología IV (Fundamental problems of Anthropology IV) and Género, Feminismos y Violencias (Gender, Feminisms and Violence) 💛 From the first one I like synchronous classes, in which the teachers explains us very interesting things about language and its implications in human culture. From the second one I like that I feel that I am learning really new things, the teachers discuss topics and ideas that I have never thought before and that I didn’t even think could occur. Finally, about the last one what I liked the most was doing the final...
